The Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) is seeking applications for a temporary role of Field/Project Assistant for the project titled “Assessment of Pollutant Impact through Biomarkers in Aquatic Ecosystems of Jammu.”

Number of Vacancies: 1
Monthly Salary: ₹18,000 (Consolidated)
Required Qualifications
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in project management, laboratory analysis, and data handling.
- Proficient in basic computer applications.
Desirable:
- Experience in conducting experimental trials and fieldwork.
- Basic understanding of Fisheries, Veterinary Sciences, or Agriculture.
Conditions of Employment
- This position is temporary and will end with the project’s completion.
- Extensions may be considered based on performance evaluations.
- The university retains the right to terminate the appointment without prior notice.
- Only candidates meeting the required qualifications will be invited for an interview.
- Shortlisted applicants will receive notifications regarding the interview process.
- The interview is set for 08.10.2024 at 11:00 AM in the Committee Room of the Director of Research, SKUAST-Jammu.
- No travel expenses will be reimbursed for interview attendance.
- Selected individuals must commence work within one week of receiving their appointment offer.
