Engagement of Candidates for Technical Assistant/Technician Positions
Engagement Overview:
The Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag announces the engagement of candidates for the positions of Technical Assistant/Technician on an academic arrangement basis, as per Order No. 364 GMCA of 2024, dated 01/10/2024. This follows the withdrawal of the legal case Anaitullah Seh & Ors. (O.A. No. 1204/2022 & O.A. No. 169/2022) and the corresponding directives from the Honorable Central Administrative Tribunal.

Details:
Selected candidates will be engaged under the provisions of S.O. 364 of 2020, with a pay scale of 25,500 – 81,100 (Level-4). The engagement is for a period of one year, extendable up to six years on a yearly basis, contingent upon satisfactory performance, or until the positions are filled on a regular basis.
Joining Instructions:
Candidates are required to report to GMC Anantnag at the main campus, Dialgam, within 21 days from the date of this order. Joining is contingent upon the submission of the following original documents for verification:
- Essential Qualification Certificate(s)
- Marks Certificates of essential qualifications
- Date of Birth Certificate
- 10th/12th Marks Sheet
- Registration Certificate
- Domicile Certificate
- Category Certificate (if applicable)
- Health Certificate
Terms and Conditions:
- Candidates must join within 21 days from the date of this engagement order; failure to do so will result in the assumption that the candidate is not interested, leading to immediate cancellation of the engagement.
- Any candidate found guilty of impersonation, submitting forged documents, providing false information, or withholding relevant details will be subject to legal action, and their candidature will be canceled. If such a case arises after selection, the contract will be terminated.
