Terms and Conditions of Engagement:
Condition | Details |
---|---|
Initial Engagement Period | 6 months, extendable for another 6 months based on satisfactory performance or till the completion of the project. |
Termination Clause | The engagement will terminate automatically upon the project’s completion. The PI reserves the right to terminate at any time without assigning a reason. |
No Legal Claim | The appointee will have no legal claim for permanent absorption or adjustment in SKUAST-Jammu post-project completion. |
Joining Requirement | The appointee must report to the PI within a week of order issuance; failure to do so will result in automatic cancellation of the engagement. |
Notice for Leaving | The appointee must provide one month’s notice before leaving the fellowship or return one month’s fellowship amount. Project work reports must be submitted in hard and soft copies to the PI before leaving. |
NOC Requirement | If already employed, the appointee must provide a “No Objection Certificate” from their current employer. |
