1. Launch of 7th Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2024
In Gandhinagar, Gujarat, the 7th Rashtriya Poshan Maah was inaugurated, focusing on raising nutrition awareness and addressing malnutrition across various vulnerable groups, particularly children, adolescents, and women. This initiative is part of Mission Poshan 2.0, which is set to drive a nationwide movement towards a healthier India.
2. Foundation Stone Laid for Vadhvan Port
Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated the construction of the Vadhvan Port in Palghar, Maharashtra. The project, with an estimated budget of ₹76,000 crore, is positioned to elevate Vadhvan into a world-class maritime hub, enhancing India’s trade capabilities by accommodating large container ships and boosting the economy.
3. Indian Athletes Achieve International Success
Indian athletes made the nation proud with stellar performances in international competitions. Divyanshi Bhowmick won a bronze medal at the World Table Tennis Youth Contender in Croatia, while Himanshi Tokas secured a silver medal in judo at the Asian Cadet and Junior Championships in South Korea.
4. Approval of the Digital Agriculture Mission
