Advertisement Notice: Engagement of Agricultural Entrepreneurs Under Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (Phase II)
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Krishi Udyamis (KUs) on a contractual basis for two years (extendable), subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the contract.

Qualification Requirement |

Age Limit |
Candidates must be between 21 and 45 years as of the last date of submission. |

Submission Method |
Completed forms should be submitted in person or via registered post to Chief Agriculture Office Complex, Near Hanuman Mandir, Udhampur 182101 (J&K). |
Application Deadline |
Any postal delays will not be the responsibility of the Agriculture Production Office or advertising authority. |

Additional Terms for Krishi Udyamis (KUs)

Agreement and Security |
Selected KUs must enter into an agreement with the Agriculture Production Department (APD) and deposit a refundable security of ₹10,000 via Fixed Deposit Receipt from a scheduled commercial bank. |
Nature of Engagement |
KUs will operate Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs) at the Panchayat level under a franchisee model, supported by the Agriculture Production Department. This initiative aims to foster entrepreneurship and local empowerment. |
Appointment Rights |
KUs will not have any entitlement to claim regular appointment. |
Asset Management |
KKG assets provided by the department will remain its exclusive property. KUs are responsible for their maintenance. |
Supervisory Management |
KKGs will be managed by KUs under the supervision of a designated APD officer from the locality. |

B.Sc. in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Fisheries, Sericulture; B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering, BVSc & AH from a recognized institution. |
Computer Certification |
Diploma/Certification in computers of 3 or more months from a recognized institution. |
